Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia is a multi-use stadium in Como, Italy. It is primarily used for football matches as the home ground of Como 1907. The stadium has a capacity of 7,798 spectators. Completed in 1927, it was built on the orders of Benito Mussolini. The stadium is named after the Italian rower and war hero Giuseppe Sinigaglia, a native of Como.[1]
In 2004, British rock band Deep Purple played a concert there.[2] Como 1907 achieved promotion to Serie A in May 2024; however, it is unclear whether they will hold their home matches at Stadio Sinigaglia during the 2024/25 season. The stadium does not currently meet the minimum capacity requirements set by the league, so urgent work is needed over the summer to upgrade it.[3]
